Join the Aprilaire Field Sales Force as a District Sales Manager!  We are a successful, growth oriented company and area seeking a talented individual who is excited about maximizing the opportunity to increase Aprilaire's marketshare in the Indianapolis market.  This position is based out of Indianapolis.

Responsibilities

As a District Sales Manager you will be responsible for top line revenue growth.

 

In addition, you will:

  • Growing existing dealers business.
  • Convert and add new dealers
  • Provide value to dealers by delivering sales and technical product training to HVAC technicians and installers.
  • Secure dealer orders while working with existing Aprilaire distributors
  • Develop and maintain a working partnership with distributors. 
  • Develop and execute an Annual Operating Plan that aligns with district revenue opportunities and corporate growth goals.
  • Keep the Company advised on customer feedback and competitive activity in your territory.
  • Maintain and analyze customer database and identify accounts offering greatest opportunities.
  • Record and maintain sales call activity in CRM on a daily basis.
  • Review and evaluate orders, activity reports, expense accounts, and assignments.

Qualifications

What special qualifications will you bring to this position?  The following knowledge, skills, and abilities will serve beneficial to you in being successful as a District Sales Manager.

  • Outside sales experience, preferably business to business.
  • Ability to sell value over price.
  • Exceptional communication skills; comfortable speaking in front of groups.
  • Demonstrated record of selling success.
  • Ability to demonstrate value to the end user.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Self-disciplined and professional; driven to work hard with limited supervision.
  • Technical aptitude.
  • Experience working with CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel overnight.
  • Experience with two-step distribution a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales and marketing, or related field desired but not required.
