We are a very successful, proactive, growth company!  We are seeking an analytical and ambitious Materials Analyst who is motivated to join a winning team.  

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain production schedules to satisfy sales forecasts, inventory targets and labor plans.
  • Prepare and maintain manufacturing and purchase orders.
  • Establish and maintain system codes, part master control data, safety stocks, reorder point data and automated purchasing system data.
  • Analyze MRP and daily inventory movement reports ensuring availability of materials to support manufacturing and customer delivery requirements.
  • Monitor late order report and take corrective action.
  • Manage supply chain relationships with suppliers.
  • Manage suppliers to resolve quality and/or supply issues.
  • Implement product change orders.
  • Maintain Kanban data base.

Qualifications

  • Requires an Associate’s degree and 2 to 5 years progressive supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment or a combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree and APICS Certification highly desirable. 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as daily reports, MRP reports, master schedules, manufacturing orders, and purchase orders.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to take initiative, make independent judgments/decisions.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems to provide the necessary materials to the plants in a timely manner.
  • Strong math aptitude.
  • Good organization skills and attention to details and accuracy.
  • Ability to respond to changing priorities.
  • Ability to coordinate and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Computer knowledge with Word and proficient Excel skills essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
