    With five consecutive record setting years of financial growth, we are seeking a Financial Analyst to join Aprilaire. If you have a strong business acumen and like taking an active role in business planning using business analytics, then this job is for you!


    Under the direction of the Controller, the Financial Analyst will assist with month-end close, support manufacturing operations, and develop and coordinate product pricing methods and models. The Financial Analyst will work across multiple business functions and will interact with various levels of management throughout the organization.


    Additional responsibilities include:

    • Responsible for developing, analyzing and reporting on all aspects of product gross margins.
    • Develop and understand product costing trends and key drivers to those trends.
    • Prepare and present to the executive team analysis and reports around gross margin and trends.
    • Working with the operations leadership team, develop manufacturing plant, distribution center and transportation financial scorecards and metrics.
    • Prepare, analyze and make recommendations for product pricing.
    • Key member of business operations processes including forecasting, inventory management, product pricing, transportation and manufacturing operations.
    • Develop budget data and assist with preparing Company operating budgets.
    • Recommend, modify or develop more effective cost control methods and assume responsibility for special projects.


    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting Major preferred; special courses in cost accounting and technical subjects beneficial.
    • Two to five years of general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required to develop the necessary background in financial analysis, modeling and reporting necessary to manage the diverse scope of projects assigned.
    • Knowledge and experience with general accounting and cost accounting concepts.
    • Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel, ERP systems and SQL databases. Strong quantitative and analytical competency with process orientation.
    • Good general business acumen.
    • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations to management.
    • Ability to communicate with other departments.
    • Initiative to continuously recommend cost saving strategies and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve processes.
