Our team is looking to add a new marketing position to our organization; Marketing Channel Manager-Basement Crawlspace! If you are a subject matter specialist with business to business marketing, we are looking for you! 

The Marketing Channel Manager is the owner of the channel (Basement/Crawlspace) who designs and executes the marketing strategy for our HVAC dealers. You will support our HVAC dealers with their marketing needs to increase sales of our dehumidification units with our US consumers/homeowners. 

Your day will include:

• Aligning the “Category Strategy” and “Channel Plan” in collaboration with the Sales department and Marketing teams
• Networking with influencers (such as dealers, consumers, industry experts) to support trade behavior, brand choice, and ultimately revenue generation by leveraging social media connections/content and industry association presentations
• Supporting and speaking as Voice of the Customer to uncover new promotions and product opportunities
• Researching competitor's activity and programs and recommending modifications to our value proposition
• Developing and leaning into relationships with government entities to influence policy beneficial to the channel (such as advocating for coding/regulations and supporting government programs)
• Acting as the subject matter specialist for stakeholders regarding best building science practices for basement and crawl space structures
• Using data to review and support your suggested marketing decisions (such as KPIs for revenue)
• Understanding the importance of distribution including product availability, pricing to dealers, and their ability to assist outreach to dealers
• Becoming the subject matter specialist on industry trends such as:
• Dealer Development - Deep understanding of dealer KPI’s and how IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) is associated with the dealers business goals
• Technologies used by the channel to improve dealer selling, quoting and promoting
• Leading and presenting at trade shows and councils 
• Collaborating with Product Manger to understand quality standards

• Deep understanding of business to business marketing strategies and literature (examples: how departments operate and measure success, align Aprilaire products and resources to HVAC contractor's business for success)
• Prior experience with pricing, competitive analysis, and pricing research methodology with a tangible product 
• Research focused with an ability to lean into the HVAC dealer's marketing needs
• Creative and passionate about finding the right marketing solutions for our customers
• Can travel once per month
• Bonus points if you have knowledge of the 2 step distribution sales channel!
