We are growing and adding an additional Product Manager to our team! As a Senior Product Manager, you'll focus on our fast growing thermostats line. You'll lead the organization through the evolution of our thermostat portfolio to solve consumer and trade problems while bringing healthy air to every home. This role will create and implement a roadmap of solutions that provide value for consumers and trade specialists. 

 

Responsibilities

Your day will include: 

  • Sets direction for cross-functional product teams, defining the features and requirements necessary to deliver an outstanding product. Setting clear direction on problems to be solved, KPI’s, and vison of what success looks like.
  • Strategically assesses and improves existing product categories margins to achieve new levels of growth and profitability.
  • Leads in the development and execution of new product and technology roadmap to ensure development projects meet channel, end user, financial, and revenue objectives.
  • Drives execution of world-class new product launches, product line upgrades, and derivative modification implementations.
  • Drives P&L performance through value engineering, pricing/mix management, and SKU rationalization.
  • Ensures viability of new and upgraded products in channels and with end users.
  • Designs consumer/customer research and translates consumer needs into value attributes the organization can execute to achieve winning product designs
  • Identifies new product opportunities and aligns resources to capture opportunity
  • Coordinates activities of sales, operations, and support groups to ensure smooth product delivery to customers.
  • Manage development of go-to-market plans, activities, and materials.
  • Performs continual assessment of competitive landscape, develops and refines competitive positioning.
  • Manages monthly/yearly forecasts with analysis of trends, accounts and other demand drivers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required within Business Administrative, Engineering or similar STEM degree
  • Minimum 5 years experience in product management and launching new products 
  • Experience leading new product introduction process through successful launch and beyond
  • Skilled specialists at navigating product development dilemmas
  • Skilled at designing and conducting consumer/customer research and applying knowledge to winning product designs
  • Proven track record of strategically assessing and improving an existing product category and growing revenue to new levels of profitability
