We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to support and deliver indoor air quality products to our dealers and distributors within a specific territory. This is B2B (Business to Business) position.

 

This position is in our Basement/Crawlspace channel that focuses on dehumidification products and growing dealer/distributor partnerships. These dealers would include waterproofing, pest control, and other related dealers.

Responsibilities

Your day will include:

  • Consulting with AprilAire dealers and distributors to position their businesses for success with support from AprilAire's marketing team
  • Providing tailored product and system solutions to HVAC dealerships and distributors
  • Cold calling and collaborating with customers on their needs
  • Working collaboratively with AprilAire distribution managers to secure distributor orders with dealers
  • Developing and leading your own Annual Operating Plan to support your sales goals and plan for your month-to-month activities
  • Tracking, updating, and reporting metrics on sales progress, activity, and customer accounts in our CRM (Goldmine)
  • Supporting clients and developing lasting relationships
  • Using data and your analytical skills to identify and prioritize accounts offering the greatest opportunities

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in selling a tangible product
  • Ability to develop long lasting relationships with customers and provide great customer service
  • Motivation, flexibility and forward-thinking to thrive with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to grow and manage your territory
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel within your territory up to 40% of your time (West Virginia including the states up to Maine and Rhode Island)
