The Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day operations to ensure all materials flow efficiently and accurately starting at the docks, all the way through production to drop off at the Distribution Center. 

 

Responsibilities

The Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day operations to ensure all materials flow efficiently and accurately starting at the docks, all the way through production to drop off at the DC.

 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Warehouse Management System transactions for receiving inbound shipments, transfers, shipping and inventory.
  • Coordinate truck driver dock door assignments, container appointments and outbound transfer requirements.
  • Coordinate with departments throughout the organization to address and resolve customer complaints, NCC’s, RV’s, RGA’s/RMA’s to improve product turnaround.
  • Execute return to vendor transactions and shipping along with the corresponding NCC processes.
  • Receiving reconciliation of packing slips to inbound shipment receipts with internal systems (ERP and WMS) to ensure billing/inventory accuracy on a daily basis.
  • Assist internal and external business partners on questions relating to deliveries, transfers and inventory.
  • Work within the Powered Industrial Truck system to assist in record keeping and training for PIT drivers, in accordance with OSHA and Aprilaire Policies.
  • Represent the PIC department in cross functional meetings and be the backup for the Inventory Control Supervisor
  • Work with PIC team and production staff in identifying material put-away, packaging and footprint issues.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge or desire in developing an expertise of WMS/ERP systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, accurate and detail oriented
  • Ability to meet deadlines, organize and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Desire to learn and grow in a fast paced environment
